ABSTRACT: This research explores strategies for promoting resilience among vocational students, emphasizing the importance of psychological and emotional strength in successful vocational training and career development. The objectives were to (1) identify factors contributing to resilience in vocational students, (2) evaluate the effectiveness of current strategies used to promote resilience, and (3) propose new strategies to enhance resilience among vocational students. A survey design was employed to gather data from students, educators, and counselors, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of resilience-building practices. The sample size comprised 220 participants, selected through a purposive sampling technique to include those directly involved in vocational education and student support services. The case study was conducted in Enugu State, Nigeria, an area with a significant focus on educational development. Findings revealed that factors such as supportive relationships, stress management training, and career counseling played crucial roles in promoting resilience among vocational students. Effective strategies included peer mentoring programs, resilience workshops, and integrated support services. Recommendations included expanding access to mental health resources, incorporating resilience training into the vocational curriculum, and fostering a supportive community environment within vocational institutions.
